Group Visit
Information
The Zoo Park has over 100
species of rare, unusual and endangered animals. Some species are unique
to Hamerton, and many are here as part of internationally co-ordinated
species conservation programmes.
The Zoo Park is set in safe, clean, open parkland; and is an ideal venue
for a visit based around a single day.
The 2005 season was marked by the arrival of 2 completely new play
areas, one for babies and toddlers and one for the older children.
Another was the addition of the covered picnic areas and gardens.

The 2006 season is
marked by another of the large phases of our continuing and on-going
expansion and enlargement of both the animal collection and facilities.
The new and unique system of covered walk-ways will eventually serve the
whole Park, and already allows dry, shady access along some of its
length.
Our major animal addition this year is
our first born Cheetah cub. Although born last year, he has only
recently been truly parading himself to the visitors.
