After being closed by central Government, English Zoos have been given a date for re-opening.
!..12th April..!
12th April is the date we have been given. Scottish zoos have not been required to close, but English zoos have. This means we will have been closed for 7 1/2 months - unprecedented across the World.
Hamerton Zoo Park will re-open on the day we are allowed to.
We expect that our strict Covid-prevention measures will be in place as before, but as yet no detail has been given.
Lovely spring weather during lock-down reminds us, again, of what the Park is like without visitors - and we look forward to welcoming you as soon as we are able, and you are able.
We will post here and on social media, as announcements are made.
