Hamerton Zoo Park has always been proud to offer complimentary carer tickets to disabled visitors who would otherwise not be able to visit us.
From 1st May 2025 we are changing our admission policy.
Our Free-Carer tickets will now be called 'Essential Companion Tickets' and the new approach means that you will no longer need to bring sensitive and confidential documents with you on the day.
We are pleased to now be working with Nimbus Disability, using their Access Card Scheme to process the eligibility of all essential companion (previously ‘carer’) tickets.
Through their application process, Nimbus Disability will assess your needs with the help of your supporting documentation and statements. This will determine if you qualify for a free Essential Companion Ticket. Please apply online through Nimbus Disability for your card which can be used at leading attractions across the country and lasts for 3 years.
