We really are having a bumper crop of new babies this year at the Park.
Recent birth's have included 2 more Red-handed Tamarins, twins this time to our second group, and another baby Javan Binturong, again to our second breeding pair.
The latest is a baby boy, born to 'Julia' one of our Grant's Zebra mares.
This foal is her third, and she is being very protective!
The successful birth and subsequent rearing of these special animals is the culmination of many years of planning. This natural cycle is not something which can be started and stopped at a whim, and their lives go on at their normal pace, regardless of what is happening in ours...
