| Ticket Transfers | The on-line ticket system is provided by DigiTickets, and the booking fee of £1 is their charge for this service. Because the system is automated, the Zoo Office cannot make transfers or refunds - YOU ARE ABLE TO CHANGE YOUR TICKET DATE YOURSELF - BUT YOU MUST FIRST OPEN AN ACCOUNT AT CHECKOUT BEFORE BUYING YOUR TICKETS ON-LINE. Then, using this flexi-facility, tickets can be moved to any future date you choose, up to one month ahead - the cut-off deadline for this flexi-facility is 12 mid-night on the day before your visit - a £10 handling fee applies each time a change is made. TICKETS PURCHASED ON-LINE ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. |
| Accessibility | We are proud to partner with NIMBUS DISABILITY, the operators of the Access Card scheme, to streamline the process for obtaining 'Essential Companion' Tickets (previously known as 'Carer' tickets). We take pride in offering Complimentary Essential Companion tickets to our visitors who require additional assistance during their visit to Hamerton Zoo Park. With this new approach, there is no longer any need to bring sensitive documents on the day. Instead, please apply online through Nimbus Disability at least 7 working days before your first visit. If you've already applied, there's no need to reapply, as all approved applications are valid for 3 years. If you don't have a Nimbus Registration or Access Card yet, please visit their web-site, where there is also the option to upgrade to a physical Access Card, widely accepted across thousands of venues in the UK. |

| Train | £3.50 - the K-T Express Dinosaur train-ticket remains unchanged at £3.50 and is purchased on site, not on-line. The train runs at weekends and in school holidays, if the weather permits. |
| Pre-Booking On-Line | Pre-booking your tickets on-line helps to speed up and streamline the entry process, allowing social distancing to be maintained, and currently represents a saving of up to £2 per ticket. |
| Animal Welfare | .....Please note that no animal at Hamerton Zoo Park is shut in or out, against its will and forced to exhibit itself - as some bad Zoos are still allowed to do, even here in the UK. The welfare of our animals is always our first priority, and under normal circumstances all have the freedom to come and go as they like. None are brought in as seasonal temporary attractions and all live here year round. So - it is always possible that any individual animal might not be visible the first time you look. As a result of these highest possible standards of animal welfare, our results with rare and unusual species are second to none. We also reserve the right as always to confine any animal for its own welfare, if circumstances arise which are beyond our control. |
